Prova Lashes Out at Cyber Bullies
Popular actress Sadia Jahan Prova breaks her 16-year silence on Facebook Live, slamming cyber bullies and victim-blaming culture while demanding accountability for real criminals.
Popular television actress Sadia Jahan Prova has broken her silence after facing continuous trolling and cyberbullying on social media for nearly 16 years. Expressing her long-held resentment during a recent Facebook Live session, she spoke out against cybercriminals and questioned the mindset of online bullies.
Citing psychological studies, Prova stated that people who troll others online usually suffer from deep insecurities regarding their own qualifications, looks, and social status. She noted that those who aggressively judge and verbally abuse celebrities on social media are unhappy with their own lives and derive a sadistic pleasure from abusing others.
Critiquing the culture of victim-blaming in society, the actress remarked, "If even half of the trolling directed at me for 16 years had been targeted at the actual criminal, the situation would be different." She emphasized that disclosing someone's privacy without consent is a severe crime, yet society continues to abuse the victim while shielding the perpetrator. Prova concluded by stressing the need for proper parenting to eliminate childhood trauma and urged society to hold the real criminals accountable instead of blaming the victims.
