‘Dom’ Debuts on OTT Ahead of Eid Streaming Rush
After making waves in cinemas, Dom is now set to arrive on OTT platforms on May 20 ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha celebrations. Directed by Redoan Rony, the film will premiere on Chorki.
According to a post shared on Chorki’s verified Facebook page, audiences both in Bangladesh and abroad will be able to stream the film on the platform from 12:00 am on May 20. Many viewers had previously missed the opportunity to watch the movie in theatres due to busy schedules or geographical distance. With its OTT release, audiences worldwide will now be able to enjoy the film anytime, from anywhere. Reflecting this excitement, one viewer commented on Facebook: “I tried many times to watch it while I was in the country but couldn’t manage it. Now I’m eagerly waiting.”
Inspired by the true story of a Bangladeshi who returned from the brink of death in Afghanistan, the film stars Afran Nisho, Chanchal Chowdhury, and Puja Cherry.
The screenplay was jointly written by Redoan Rony alongside Syed Ahmed Shawki, Al-Amin Hasan Nirjhor, Saifullah Riad, and Rabiul Alam Robi.
The film was produced by SVF Alpha-i and Chorki.
