Nagad Wallet Now Enables Padma Bridge Toll Payments
Travelers can now pay Padma Bridge tolls using the Nagad wallet, as the popular mobile financial service has been integrated with the D-Toll interoperable toll payment system under the EkPay platform of the government’s Access to Information (a2i) program.
The agreement was announced by Nagad on Monday, 19 January. According to the announcement, customers must first register through the Toll option in the Nagad app to use the service. After logging in, users need to select the toll option, choose Tap to Use, click Register, enter their name, accept the terms and conditions, and submit the request.
In the second step, users must select Attach Wallet, tap Accept, and provide their Nagad wallet number. An OTP will then be sent, which must be verified along with the Nagad password to complete wallet attachment. In the third step, users can top up by entering their desired amount, accepting the terms and conditions, and submitting the request.
To pay tolls, customers must also link their vehicle by providing vehicle details, selecting Yes, verifying through OTP, and submitting the information. Once these steps are completed successfully, toll payments at Padma Bridge can be made easily using Nagad.
Additionally, after completing registration, users must verify their BRTA-approved RFID tag at the Mawa Toll Plaza. This verification is required only once for new or first-time registrants. Thereafter, travelers can use the ETC lanes at Padma Bridge and cross smoothly by following the designated speed limits.
