Digital Land Learning Drives ‘Land Quiz’ at Land Service Fair 2026
An online-based “Land Quiz” competition was held at Habibullah Bahar College in the capital, marking the occasion of Land Service Fair 2026. The initiative placed special emphasis on enhancing awareness among the younger generation regarding land management, digital land services, and civic responsibility.
The event was organized on Thursday, 14 May, by the Ministry of Land Bangladesh. The chief guest was Md. Abdullah Al Baki, Chairman (Secretary) of the Land Appeal Board Bangladesh.
While speaking, the chief guest said the current government is working to make land services easier, more transparent, and automated. As a result of digital land management, citizens are now receiving faster and more reliable services. He also noted that initiatives like this, conducted through educational institutions, play an important role in raising awareness about land-related issues among future generations.
He further stated that the primary objective of the quiz competition is not merely competition but to encourage students to acquire knowledge about land-related matters and to build a positive perception of land services.
Special guest Fazle Rubayet Pappu was also present at the event, while the program was chaired by the college principal Imrul Kayes.
The keynote paper was presented by Md. Hannan Mia, who highlighted various aspects of modern land management, automated land services, and digital citizen services. His presentation emphasized the expansion of technology-driven services in the land sector and the simplification of services through information technology.
A key attraction of the event was the online-based Land Quiz competition, conducted by Dr. B M Sazzad Hossain. Following the competition, certificates, crests, and prizes were distributed among the winners.
Organizers stated that as part of Land Service Fair 2026, similar technology-driven and knowledge-based initiatives for students will continue in the future, enabling them to gain more practical insights into modern land management.
