STEM Synergy: BdOSN and Creative Business Group Forge AI-Robotics Education Alliance
Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and Creative Business Group have entered into a strategic partnership to expand artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and STEM education across Bangladesh.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Wednesday, 13 May, at the head office of Creative IT in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. On behalf of Creative Business Group, Chief Operating Officer Zia Uddin Mahmud signed the agreement, while Treasurer Promi Nahid signed on behalf of BdOSN.
The ceremony was attended by Creative Business Group Chairman Monir Hossain, BdOSN President Munir Hasan, and Partnership Manager Mahmud Meem.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly conduct preparatory activities for the World Robot Olympiad, AI Olympiad, and various STEM-based competitions. They will also organize robotics and AI bootcamps, innovation camps, and coding workshops to enhance students’ skills.
In addition, the partnership includes the development of future-ready curricula aligned with international standards, training of skilled mentors and instructors, and joint efforts to extend technology education to grassroots levels.
Organizers said the collaboration will not be limited to awareness programmes alone; rather, it aims to play a significant role in developing human resources equipped for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Special emphasis will also be placed on engaging female students and young people in freelancing and technology-based employment opportunities.
