JUST and HSTU Remain Outside the Cluster System of University Admission
The admission application process for the 2025–26 academic year under the cluster system of 19 public universities will begin on December 10 and will continue until December 24. Despite widespread discussion, five universities that withdrew from the system last year will remain outside the cluster this year as well, including Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) and Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU).
Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah, Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University and Convener of the Cluster Admission Committee, stated that preparations are underway to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process. The full admission circular for the 2025–26 cluster admission tests will be published by December 10.
He further mentioned that although both the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of Education expressed interest in reintegrating the previously departed institutions, the five universities will remain outside the cluster this year. These institutions are:

-
Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU)
-
