Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer and the principal producer of NVIDIA’s artificial intelligence (AI) servers, has announced that it will begin deploying humanoid robots at its Houston plant in the United States. This facility is responsible for assembling NVIDIA’s advanced AI servers, according to a Reuters report.

A June report by Reuters earlier revealed that Foxconn and NVIDIA had jointly planned the introduction of these humanoid robots, scheduled to become operational in the first quarter of 2026. On Tuesday, during NVIDIA’s developer conference in Washington, D.C., Foxconn stated that its Houston plant would be among the world’s first smart factories to employ humanoid robots powered by NVIDIA’s Isaac GR00T N model.

Foxconn also announced plans to expand AI server production across Texas, Wisconsin, and California to meet the rapidly increasing global demand.

“Our team in the United States is working on the most advanced AI data center solutions, which will help our clients stay ahead in the global AI race,” said Foxconn Chairman Young Liu.
