Honor Unveils X6c with AI Boost and Bigger Battery at Same Price
Honor Bangladesh has officially launched its latest smartphone, the Honor X6c, as the successor to the widely popular X6b model. With nearly double the performance and upgraded features offered at the same price point of BDT 14,999, the new device was unveiled on Tuesday, July 15, during a rain-soaked press dinner atop Zahir Smart Tower in Agargaon, Dhaka.
The Honor X6c boasts a water-resistant design and introduces a host of smart features powered by artificial intelligence. Speaking at the event, Honor Bangladesh’s Deputy Country Manager Mujahidul Islam highlighted the dedicated AI button on the new smartphone, enabling users to perform tasks such as object recognition, instant translation, and rapid search functionalities with ease.
He further explained the use of an AI eraser tool that intelligently removes background photobombers from images. “With Google Lens facilitating nearly 200 billion visual searches every month, users can uncover a wealth of information simply by scanning images through the phone,” he said.
Aside from its AI-powered features, the Honor X6c comes equipped with a powerful 5,300 mAh battery, offering up to 610 hours of standby time, ensuring users remain connected without worrying about battery life or network loss.
The smartphone also features a punch-hole display and improved storage capabilities, setting it apart from other devices in its price range.
Also present at the launch were Honor Bangladesh’s Country Manager Lang Guo and Head of Business Abdullah Al Mamun, who expressed optimism about the market reception of the new model.
