Capital Drama Channel Debuts with Eid Special ‘Priyo Projapoti’

The YouTube channel Capital Drama, an initiative by Bashundhara Group’s Radio Capital FM, made its official debut on the evening of Sunday, June 8, with the release of the Eid special drama Priyo Projapoti.

Inspired by acclaimed fiction writer Sadat Hossain’s short story Billboard, the drama has been directed by renowned television director Zakaria Soukhin. The lead roles are played by popular actors Ziaul Faruq Aupurba and Tasnia Fareen, portraying a budding romance set against the backdrop of daily office life and a shared commute.

Despite launching with zero subscribers, Capital Drama’s inaugural release surpassed one million views within just 18 hours of its premiere. The comment section has seen nearly 1,500 positive remarks, while more than 14,000 viewers have subscribed to the new channel in the same timeframe.

Set in an office environment, Priyo Projapoti unfolds the story of light-hearted banter and romantic tension between two colleagues traveling on the same office bus. The drama has been presented by Bashundhara Tissue.

The production features a song penned by lyricist Someshwar Ali, with music composed by Zahid Nirob. The vocals are performed by Zahid himself and Atia Anisa.
