Apple Announces $99 Million Renewable Energy Fund in China
Technology giant Apple Inc. has announced the establishment of a renewable energy fund worth 720 million yuan (approximately $99.22 million) in China. This announcement coincides with the visit of Apple CEO Tim Cook to Beijing, according to a report by Reuters.
In a statement, Apple said, "This initiative is aimed at expanding our renewable energy capacity in China."
The move is part of Apple's broader effort to transition its entire supply chain to 100% renewable energy by 2030.
