Forkan caught finally
Zahid Hasan Raju alias Forkan, an online bomb-making instructor using a secret app, was arrested. The Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit has arrested three militants, including a bomb-maker with a degree in chemistry from Jahangirnagar University.
The other two arrested are Saiful Islam Maruf alias Basira and Rumman Hasan Fahad alias Abdullah.
At a press conference held at the DMP media center on Wednesday, Asaduzzaman, the head of the CTTC highlighted the details of the arrest.
He said they were arrested from Kafrul area on Tuesday night. Explosives, GI pipes, remote control devices, iron balls, three mobile phones and a tab were recovered from them. Being a chemistry student among the arrested, Forkan soon became proficient in making grenades and bombs. He is equally adept at making drones.
