Bangladesh will show path to the world: Palak
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has firmly declared that Bangladesh, which once lost its way, will lead the world in the future due to the honest, courageous and far-sighted leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said, “Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina's Philosophy of Revolution - Digital Bangladesh is not just for Bangladesh; It has become a role model for the whole world. "
Palak also said that WITSA, an organization of 85 countries, has awarded Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the Eminent Persons Award for her outstanding contribution to democracy, non-communal society and information technology.
He made the remarks on Monday (November 15th) while participating in the discussion of the motion of thanks in the session of Parliament for launching the UNESCO Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman International Prize in the field of Creative Economy.
Earlier, Vice-Chairman Abdus Shahid brought the proposal in accordance with Section 147 of the Rules of Procedure. Responding to BNP MP Harunur Rashid's remarks at the meeting, the state minister criticized the then government, saying Bangladesh was not connected to the submarine cable in the first phase due to ignorance. Samsung's $ 1 billion offer was withdrawn in 2004 for unethical reasons. But as a result of the withdrawal of import duty and spare parts tax in 2016, Samsung came back to Bangladesh in 2017 where 2000 people have been employed.
He said the truth has evolved today. Bangabandhu's dignity has been established in the court of the world today.
