Harnessing the transformative power of artificial intelligence, interoperable health architecture, and grassroots community networks, Grameen Health Tech Limited has achieved premier national recognition for democratizing healthcare. The company's AI-enabled, patient-centric digital healthcare application and community-care ecosystem, ‘Shukhie’, won the Bangladesh ICT and Innovation Network (BIIN) Award under the "Inclusion and Community Services" category.
The award ceremony was held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the BRAC University Auditorium. The award was received on behalf of Shukhie by Grameen Health Tech Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ahmed Arman Siddiqui, Chief Business and Technology Officer Mohammad Solaiman Russel, Strategic Advisor Mohammad Abul Hossain Bongobashi, Chief Marketing Officer Kingshuk Huq, Application Tech Lead Md. Tanveer Hossain, and Chief of Research, Analytics, and Customer Experience Dr. Hossain Md. Al-Amin.
Expressing gratitude to the BIIN organizers, jury board, partners, and the Grameen Group family, Dr. Ahmed Arman Siddiqui stated to the press that this recognition belongs to every link worker, doctor, and patient who embraced Shukhie. He emphasized that healthcare access should never depend on geographic location and noted that the honor strengthens their resolve to deliver quality healthcare to every household across Bangladesh.
Engineered specifically for rural, underserved, and digitally excluded demographics, Shukhie guarantees affordable and continuous healthcare. Its unified ecosystem bridges patients, physicians, pharmacies, diagnostic centers, hospitals, caregivers, Shukhie care points, and community-level link workers. The platform delivers 24/7 telemedicine, specialist consultations, digital e-prescriptions, doorstep medicine deliveries, home diagnostics, emergency referrals, mental healthcare, maternal and child healthcare, and non-communicable disease (NCD) management. Seamless continuity of care is maintained through unified and interoperable Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
From a technological standpoint, Shukhie’s AI health chatbot delivers around-the-clock guidance, automated triage, health education, scheduling, and timely medication reminders, escalating cases to licensed professionals when necessary. Complementing this, an integrated Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) evaluates structured patient history, real-time vitals, and diagnostic trends to assist practitioners with precision risk detection and evidence-based clinical protocols. Powered by field link workers, local care centers, and the ‘Shukhie Shastho Bondhu’ 6-in-1 connected diagnostic unit, the ecosystem effectively transforms rural households into connected hubs of personalized medicine.
