BACCO Election Final Voter List Published, Voter Count Rises to 192

The final voter list for the 2026-2028 term biennial Executive Committee election of the Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BACCO) has been officially published. The list shows a significant increase in the number of voters, rising to 192 from the previous election cycle.

The BACCO Election Board published the final voters' list in accordance with the approved election schedule on Thursday, September 17, 2026. According to the declared schedule, the election will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, following the Trade Organization Act 2022 and Trade Organization Rules 2025. The voter count has increased to 192, comprising 154 General Members and 38 Associate Members. In the previous election held on March 3, 2024, the voter number was 107, and due to a lack of contesting candidates, it resulted in a selection.

Saiful Islam Siddique, Chairman of the BACCO Election Board and Managing Director of ICC Teleservices Ltd., anticipates that the rise in voters will lead to an increase in candidates and a highly competitive, festive election. Other members of the Election Board are S M Monjurul Islam, CEO of Techpoint BPO, and Md. Habibul Haq, Director of Next Online Ltd. The three members of the Appeal Board include Monirul Islam, Chairman of Velocita Infosys Ltd., Imrazina Islam, Founder of Imrazina Technologies, and Foysal Ahmed, Managing Partner of Fire & Safety Management.

Saiful Islam Siddique, Chairman of the Election Board, said, "Besides ensuring a fair and neutral election, we are striving to present the most participatory and acceptable election to all. The Board is providing equal opportunities to all members. The BACCO Secretariat has also encouraged everyone to become voters and treats all members with equal importance. We believe this will result in a festive election."

As per the schedule, candidates can collect and submit nomination forms by September 23. Following scrutiny and appeal hearings, the final list of candidates will be published on October 8. Voting will take place on October 31, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM without any break, and the final results will be announced after counting the votes.
