The 12th Digital Summit, a flagship event of the Bangladesh Brand Forum, commenced on Saturday, June 20, at Le Méridien Dhaka in the capital. This year's summit, themed "Rethinking Digital – Strategy, Story & Science," focused on artificial intelligence, evolving consumer expectations, platform-driven changes, and the integration of technology and creativity. 

Throughout the day, discussions explored the growing convergence of artificial intelligence, evolving consumer expectations, platform disruption and the intersection of creativity with technology.

The programme featured three keynote sessions, three panel discussions, three insight sessions, two case studies and one expert deep dive.

In his opening remarks, Sajid Mahbub, Group CEO and Executive Editor of Bangladesh Brand Forum, said digital is no longer just a channel but has become the foundation for building relevance, trust and business growth. He highlighted the importance of combining strategic clarity, creativity and data-driven decision-making.

The keynote sessions were led by Tanvir Faruk, Chief Executive Officer of Kazi Media Limited; Drabir Alam, Chief Operating Officer and Director of X – Integrated Marketing Agency; and Saleh Ghanayem, Head of Emerging Market Partnerships for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Pakistan at TikTok.

Topics covered included human-centric growth in an algorithm-driven world, social-first marketing, the evolution of digital advertising, the creator economy, AI-enabled business transformation, changing consumer behaviour and the future of brand engagement.

Panel and insight sessions featured speakers including Ahsanur Rahman of Google Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Munaf Mojib Chowdhury of Accentech PLC, Syeda Umme Salma Jhumur of Ignitia 360, Mahadi Hasan Sagar of Geeki Social, Imtiaz Khan Imran of FCB Bitopi, Yasin Noor of Fastcom AI and Professor Rafiuddin Ahmed of North South University.

Presented by Meghna Group of Industries and supported by Walton Refrigerator, the summit focused on the theme “Rethinking Digital – Strategy, Story and Science”.

Since its launch in 2014, the Digital Summit has evolved into one of Bangladesh’s leading platforms for discussions on digital strategy, innovation and business transformation.
