Ahead of the upcoming Football World Cup, leading technology product distributor Excel Technologies Ltd. has launched a new campaign titled “1 Goal 1 Network.” Under the campaign, customers purchasing TP-Link routers will have the opportunity to win weekly prizes, including televisions, with a motorbike offered as the grand prize.

The campaign was officially inaugurated during an Expert Meetup held on Saturday, May 16, at Fortis Downtown Resort on Madani Avenue in the capital. The event was inaugurated by Lin Wang, Managing Director of TP-Link Private Limited (SAARC). Senior officials from the distributor Excel Technologies Ltd., including Managing Director Goutam Saha and Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Masud Hossain, were also present.

During the event, discussions focused on the real-world success of TP-Link products, industry challenges, after-sales services, technical support, and the company’s future plans in the Bangladeshi market.

Speaking at the program, Lin Wang emphasized TP-Link’s commitment to ensuring reliable, fast, and secure network connectivity for every home, office, and business establishment. He also expressed the company’s interest in making significant investments and launching manufacturing operations in Bangladesh in the future. Referring to the government’s supportive policies, he said the globally recognized networking brand is actively evaluating initiatives under the “Made in Bangladesh” vision.

On the other hand, Goutam Saha noted that Excel Technologies has been working with TP-Link since 2004. He mentioned that Bangladesh was TP-Link’s first international buyer market and that more than 30 million TP-Link products have been sold in the country. He further added that TP-Link currently has around 2,500 channel partners in Bangladesh, while Excel operates 22 service centers nationwide to provide after-sales support.

Participants at the event also explored several new products from TP-Link and its sub-brands, including Omada, VIGI, Tapo, and Mercusys, showcased at the Experience Zone.

The organizers also informed attendees that through the Omada Certified Network Administrator (OCNA) course, more than 300 Omada experts have been trained across Bangladesh through certification and hands-on training programs. The specialized training initiative has included IT professionals, system integrators, teachers from educational institutions, and IT heads from various organizations.
