Marcel Fridge Buyer Wins Tk 1 Million in Digital Campaign
A young man from Tangail has struck fortune after purchasing a refrigerator from Walton’s sub-brand Marcel. Habibur Rahman, a resident of Pekua Dakshin Para in Mirzapur, received a cheque worth Tk 1 million under the ongoing Digital Campaign Season-24.
The prize was formally handed over at Takhtarchala Bazar in Mirzapur, where popular actors Sadia Ayman and Irfan Sajjad presented the check to Habibur. The event was also attended by senior officials of Marcel, including Head of Business Hossain Md. Ruhin Sabbir, Deputy Head of Business Motiur Rahman, Additional Executive Director Mostafizur Rahman, and Osman Gani, proprietor of Marcel’s distributor showroom Home Electronics.
Habibur expressed his astonishment, saying he had only ever imagined such rewards in films and dramas: “I thought buyers might get a few hundred taka back, but never millions. This feels like a movie scene coming true in my life. With this prize, I will try to fulfill my dream of going abroad.”
Actress Sadia Ayman praised Marcel’s product quality and urged consumers to support local brands: “By buying domestic products, we not only enjoy good quality but also contribute to national development.” Actor Irfan Sajjad echoed the sentiment, noting that Marcel’s initiatives empower thousands of buyers across the country, strengthening both household economies and the nation’s socio-economic progress.
This campaign highlights how Marcel is blending business success with customer benefits, ensuring that local innovation continues to uplift communities nationwide.
