IT Inclusion Initiative: ISDB-BISEW Offers Free Training for Non-IT Graduates
The ISDB-BISEW is offering completely free information technology training opportunities for graduate students from non-IT backgrounds. The deadline to apply for Round-73 of its IT Scholarship Programme is 15 June.
Under this scholarship, each trainee will have the opportunity to complete courses worth approximately Tk 200,000 entirely free of cost. Those who successfully complete the courses will also receive job placement support through the institution’s placement cell.
Graduates or Fazil pass students, as well as those currently studying at the Master’s or Kamil level, are eligible to apply for this scholarship. In addition, candidates who have passed four-year Diploma-in-Engineering programmes in Computer, Telecommunication, Electronics, Civil, Architecture, Survey, and Construction disciplines are also eligible to apply.
For graduates, the available courses include Web and Mobile Application Development, Database Application Development, Network and System Administration, Graphics, Animation, and Video Editing. For diploma engineers, courses include Architectural and Civil CAD, Cloud Computing, Motion Graphics, 3D Visualization, among others.

Notably, the institution is jointly operated by the Government of Bangladesh and the Islamic Development Bank. It has long been working to develop skilled human resources in the fields of information technology and technical education. By offering various demand-driven courses aligned with job market needs, the institution has so far produced approximately 18,963 IT professionals. Of them, 92 percent are currently employed in various organizations at home and abroad.
