FuelPass App Mandatory at 68 Dhaka Fuel Stations for Motorcycles

The government has made the use of the FuelPass app mandatory during fuel distribution for motorcycles at 68 filling stations in the Dhaka Metropolitan area. The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources confirmed the information in a notice on Monday (May 4), stating that the use of the FuelPass app has been made compulsory by the government during fuel dispensing for motorcycles at these stations.

In addition, FuelPass has also been made mandatory for private cars at filling stations listed from serial 1 to 18. At these stations, the FuelPass app must be used when receiving fuel.

Users can install FuelPass from the Google Play Store or register via the provided link.

Meanwhile, the filling stations in Dhaka where app-based registration has been made mandatory are as follows:

Earlier, the Energy Division stated that to make the country’s fuel supply system more transparent and modern and to ensure discipline at filling stations, the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources introduced a QR code-based app called ‘FuelPass’ on a pilot basis. The app was initially launched for motorcycle owners or riders and later gradually expanded across different areas of the country for motorcycle users.
