Alumni Aid Revives CUET Ambulance

Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) has seen a remarkable humanitarian initiative from its former students, who have fully repaired and refurbished an old university ambulance. Members of the university’s 10th batch (1978–82) spent nearly BDT 1 million to complete the restoration.

The ambulance had become outdated and largely unusable, limiting the university’s ability to provide emergency medical services. With this initiative, it will once again serve the students, faculty, staff, and employees of CUET effectively.

Welcoming the alumni initiative, CUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiya said, “Such initiatives will inspire our current and future generations. The way CUET alumni have stood by the university is truly commendable and exemplary.”
