Digital Diary Deployment in Khulna and Barishal Regions Start From July 21

Starting Monday, July 21, all police stations under the Khulna and Barishal ranges, including those within Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) and Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP), will offer full-fledged online General Diary (GD) services. This initiative enables residents of both regions to file general diaries conveniently from their homes.
The announcement came through a press release issued by the Police Headquarters on Sunday, July 20.
According to the notice, “Under the directive of the Chief Adviser, Bangladesh Police has introduced the 'Online GD' service to simplify police services and make them more citizen-friendly.” Until now, the service has been implemented in 457 police stations across the Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Chattogram, Rajshahi, and Rangpur ranges and their respective metropolitan areas.
With the latest expansion, online GD services will now be available in 122 additional police stations across the Khulna and Barishal ranges, including KMP and BMP jurisdictions.
To access the service, users need to download the ‘Online GD’ app from the Google Play Store and complete a one-time registration. Once registered, users will be able to file multiple GDs without re-registering.
For any assistance during registration or while submitting a GD, citizens may contact the 24-hour hotline at 01320001428.
