Adobe Advances AI Access with Firefly Mobile App
Adobe Inc. on Tuesday unveiled its first artificial intelligence-powered smartphone application, Firefly, now available on both iOS and Android platforms, according to a Reuters report.
The app integrates Adobe’s proprietary AI model along with models from partner companies such as Ideogram, Luma AI, and Runway. Previously accessible only through a web-based version, Firefly also featured integrations with Google and OpenAI models.
According to Adobe, subscribers will be able to generate a vast array of general images using their choice of models through the app. However, premium models will require additional payment, with monthly subscription rates starting at $10.
The company emphasized that its model has been trained exclusively on legally obtained content. “This ensures that users are protected from copyright complications,” Adobe asserted.
