LG Display suspends LCD TV panel production in South Korea
LG Display Co. Ltd. plans to suspend the production of liquid crystal display (LCD) TV panels in South Korea. This decision has been taken due to the increased competition, Reuters reported, quoting reliable sources.
According to reports, Apple's supplier expects normal business operations to be unaffected by the suspension of LCD TV panel production.
LG Display has claimed the same in the documents submitted to the regulatory body.
LG Display is one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of TFT-LCD, OLED and flexible displays. The headquarters of the company is located in Seoul, South Korea.
