Super Sale Car Bazar Expands to 90,000 Sq Ft at ICCB

The weekly 'Super Sale Car Bazar' held every Friday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) experienced a massive surge in buyers and sellers today. Expanding over a vast 90,000 square feet air-conditioned area to accommodate the growing number of vehicles, the marketplace opened from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday (September 18).

Automobile enthusiasts, buyers, and sellers gathered in large numbers. Along with reconditioned and pre-owned cars, newly introduced Electric Vehicles (EVs) gained significant attention.

Alfat Hossain Khan, Head of Sales at DHS Autos (Changan and Deepal), noted that keeping pace with the rising demand for EVs and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), they joined the marketplace to raise awareness among buyers. He explained that since reconditioned cars now command high prices, purchasing a brand-new vehicle with a warranty is a smarter choice. Highlighting their plug-in hybrid model imported from Thailand, he added that it offers an 180 km range solely on battery power and a total driving range of 1,234 km on combined fuel and charge.

The marketplace ensures transparent transactions by enabling buyers to check a vehicle's history, inspect parts for faults, and conduct test drives before purchasing.

Providing complimentary diagnostic services, Mohammad Siam, Service Engineer at Hyundai's Tejgaon branch, waited with a mobile service van. He explained that their team offers free comprehensive health checks for purchased cars, issuing detailed diagnostic reports covering the engine, gearbox, and electronic components to confirm vehicle quality.

The car market operates completely free of middlemen, allowing buyers to negotiate directly with sellers.

Exhibiting keen interest, visitors toured stalls and collected model and pricing information from the information desk. Ariful Islam, a visitor at the venue, shared that having many cars from reputed showrooms in Dhaka under one air-conditioned roof without the hassle of brokers makes the buying process comfortable and hassle-free.

To facilitate purchases, several bank booths at the venue offered fast-track car loan processing within 48 hours for new, pre-owned, and reconditioned vehicles.

Launched on September 4, this Friday car marketplace has become a regular fixture. Organized by Wizard Showbiz with ICCB as the venue partner, the event brings together brand dealerships, financial institutions, individual sellers, and buyers with special discounts across cars and motorcycles.
