- Participants receive dedicated mobile servicing toolkits to support independent technical vocations
- Bangladesh Army initiative promotes inclusive regional livelihoods through practical ICT skilling
Equipping local youths with practical engineering and electronics diagnostics to foster technological self-reliance, the Bangladesh Army has initiated the 'Mobile Servicing Training 2026' program in Naniarchar.
The development was confirmed on Monday, September 14. Organized under the ongoing community development program of the Naniarchar Zone, the workshop commenced on September 13 and runs through September 24 at the zone headquarters. Guided by Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Md. Mashiur Rahman, psc, Zone Second-in-Command Major Sheikh Mohammad Nayeem officially inaugurated the workshop.
The training cohort integrates young participants from both the regional indigenous and Bengali communities. The curriculum delivers theoretical instructions and rigorous lab demonstrations covering smartphone component architecture, hardware troubleshooting methodologies, micro-soldering, fault isolation, and circuit board servicing. Recognizing mobile devices as vital conduits of business and digital services, the initiative prepares trainees with essential hardware maintenance proficiencies.
"A skilled and technically adept workforce represents the bedrock of sustainable regional development," Major Sheikh Mohammad Nayeem remarked during the inauguration. "Equipping young minds with hands-on mechanical and hardware competencies empowers them toward self-employment while fostering community solidarity and inclusive teamwork."
To enable effective applied learning, the Naniarchar Zone supplied all enrolled participants with complete mobile servicing toolkits and electrical testing instruments. These specialized tools are designed to facilitate coursework execution and serve as seed equipment for future entrepreneurial endeavors. Army technical teams noted that the vocational program will unlock sustainable livelihood opportunities and strengthen grassroots socio-economic development across the hill tracts.
