Bangladesh Innovation Fair Set for September

The three-day ‘Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026’ is set to take place at Novo Theatre in Dhaka from September 12 to 14, bringing innovators, researchers, universities, industries and other stakeholders together on a common platform.

The fair is being organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology under the theme ‘Innovate to Market’. Its primary objective is to build an integrated innovation ecosystem and promote the transformation of research and innovation into market-oriented solutions, with an ambition to contribute to Bangladesh’s journey towards a trillion-dollar economy.

More than 150 innovation showcases will be featured at the fair, providing a platform for young and experienced innovators to present new technologies and ideas.
The programme will also include more than 15 sessions and dialogues featuring expert discussions on various sectors and technology-related issues.

A dedicated Innovation Hub will serve as a centre for new ideas, technologies and innovation-focused interaction.

More than 50 renowned local and international universities are expected to participate. In addition, over 50 industry experts will attend to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.

More than 50 prominent corporate, industrial and commercial organisations are also expected to participate actively in the fair.

Individuals, students and researchers, universities and institutions, corporations, industries and multinational companies, government agencies, international and non-governmental organisations, small and medium enterprises, service providers, startups, idea incubators and green entrepreneurs have been invited to showcase their innovations.

The National Museum of Science and Technology has been designated as the implementing agency for Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026.
Innovators interested in participating in the exhibition must complete registration by August 30, 2026.
