The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2026 will be published on August 10. The Ministry of Education confirmed the decision through a press release on Thursday, August 6. Students can effortlessly access their marksheets online and via mobile SMS.

Dhaka, August 6, 2026: Bringing an end to the wait of over 1.8 million examinees, the results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be officially released on August 10. The information was confirmed today, Thursday (August 6), in a press release signed by Abdullah Shebley Sadique, Senior Information Officer at the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry assured that all technical and administrative preparations for the publication are complete. Students can retrieve their results seamlessly through designated websites and SMS platforms.

How to Check Results Online:

Examinees can access their full grade sheets by visiting the official centralized result portals: eduboardresult.gov.bd or educationboardresults.gov.bd. On the portal, students need to select their examination type (SSC/Dakhil/Vocational), passing year (2026), board name, and input their Roll and Registration numbers to view their statement of marks.

How to Get Results via Mobile SMS:

To receive results directly on mobile devices from any operator, type: SSC <space> First 3 letters of Board <space> Roll Number <space> 2026 and send the message to 16140.

• For General Education Boards (e.g., Dhaka Board): Type SSC DHA ROLL 2026 and send to 16140.

• For Madrasah Board (Dakhil): Type SSC MAD ROLL 2026 and send to 16140.

• For Technical Board: Type SSC TEC ROLL 2026 and send to 16140.

The written examinations for this year’s SSC and equivalent tests commenced on April 21 and concluded by May 24. Although standard procedures mandate result publication within 60 days of written exams, this year's results are being published nearly three weeks beyond the conventional timeline. A total of 1,857,344 students filled out forms to sit for the exams across nine general education boards, the Madrasah Board, and the Technical Education Board.
