Dhaka, August 6, 2026: Country’s largest online marketplace Daraz Bangladesh has announced its major mid-year shopping campaign, the ‘8.8 Great 8 Sale’. Anchored on the theme “More Brands, More Deals, More to Love,” the campaign is set to go live tomorrow, August 7 at 8:00 PM, running through August 12, 2026.
The campaign packs hefty savings, offering up to 70% off on Mega Deals, up to 80% off on Flash Sales and Hot Deals, alongside up to 12% off on pre-payment vouchers. Customers can also avail of site-wide delivery discounts and free shipping across electronics, fashion, FMCG, home appliances, and lifestyle categories.
A key highlight of the event is the 'Brand Rush Hour', offering extra discounts from 8:00 PM on August 7 to 2:00 AM on August 8, and continuing daily from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM on August 8, 9, and 11. Dedicated brand days feature Unilever on August 9, realme on August 10, and Vision on August 11. Under the 'Everyday Low Price' (EDLP) segment, 'Daraz Choice' offers free delivery on buying 3 items and a free gift with free delivery on purchasing 5 items.
The 8.8 sale features Dettol and Unilever as Platinum Partners, Parachute Naturals and Himalaya as Gold Partners, and Godrej as Silver Partner.
To make transactions seamless, bKash users can claim a flat BDT 50 discount on Daraz Choice orders above BDT 199, along with 12% discounts every Wednesday. Cardholders of Eastern Bank PLC, Midland Bank PLC, Prime Bank PLC, and Southeast Bank PLC can collect vouchers for 10% to 12% discounts, while NRB Bank PLC credit cardholders get up to BDT 1,000 cashback on EMI purchases.
