5,000 Students Join 'Vivo Presents NUB Club Fest 2026'
Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) hosted the three-day 'Vivo Presents NUB Club Fest 2026' on its campus from August 2 to 4. Sponsored by global smartphone brand Vivo Bangladesh, the festival drew over 5,000 students to engage in photography workshops, debates, e-sports, and cultural showcases. Dhaka, August 6, 2026: The campus of Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) buzzed with youthful energy as the three-day 'Vivo Presents NUB Club Fest 2026' concluded successfully. Held from August 2 to 4, the grand event was title-sponsored by the leading global smartphone brand, Vivo Bangladesh. Designed to nurture creativity, leadership, and co-curricular excellence, the fest engaged over 5,000 students across various competitive tracks. The NUB Film & Photography Club spearheaded the event as the primary organizer, supported by co-organizers—NUB Literature & Cultural Club and NUB Debate & Public Speaking Club. Key club partners included the NUB Textile Club, Games & Sports Club, and the NUB Business Entrepreneurship & Leadership Club.
The dynamic three-day schedule packed in mobile photography workshops, photo walks, photography contests, photo story challenges, and parliamentary debates. For gaming enthusiasts, thrill-packed PUBG and e-Football (PES) tournaments were arranged. Flash mobs, ramp shows, interactive gaming segments, and live cultural performances added vibrant colors to the festival.
A major highlight was the 'Vivo Smartphone Experience Zone', where students got hands-on experience with Vivo’s latest smartphone lineup and captured memories at the dedicated photo zone with instant photo-printing services. Many enthusiastic participants also registered for the 'Vivo BD Community' to stay tuned for future campus activities.
Commending the event, NUB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman stated, "Co-curricular activities play a crucial role in developing both the personal and professional skills of students. Initiatives by organizations like Vivo Bangladesh create fantastic opportunities for students to gather practical experience." The three-day event drew to a close with a grand prize-giving ceremony, where winners received gift hampers, T-shirts, certificates, and special honors from Vivo Bangladesh.
