edotco Bangladesh has appointed Al-Batuni Mohammad Saeed Ahmed as its new Country Managing Director (CMD), reinforcing the company's commitment to developing local leadership and expanding Bangladesh's digital infrastructure.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, the company said the telecom industry veteran, who brings more than two decades of experience in telecommunications and digital services, will lead edotco Bangladesh's strategic initiatives in infrastructure expansion, innovation and long-term business growth.
Before assuming the new role, Ahmed spent nearly 17 years in various senior leadership positions at Ericsson, where he played a key role in network transformation and digital modernisation. Most recently, he served as Director, Strategy and Transformation at edotco Bangladesh, leading operational excellence and long-term transformation initiatives.
He succeeds Sunil Isaac, under whose leadership edotco Bangladesh significantly expanded its nationwide infrastructure footprint. The company currently operates nearly 17,000 telecom towers supporting more than 28,000 tenancies, playing a vital role in strengthening Bangladesh's telecommunications ecosystem.
