Entrepreneurs receive certificates at closing ceremony
e-CAB Provides AI-Based E-Business Training for Members
The E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) has concluded its “AI Based e-Business Promotion” training programme. Certificates were distributed among participating entrepreneurs at the closing ceremony.
The E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) has organized the closing ceremony of its “AI Based e-Business Promotion” training programme. The event was held on June 21, Sunday at the auditorium of the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), where participating entrepreneurs received certificates upon completion of the programme.
The programme was chaired by e-CAB Administrator and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Dr. Saif Uddin Ahmed.
In his welcome speech, Dr. Saif Uddin Ahmed said that artificial intelligence has become one of the key driving forces of global commerce. He emphasized that AI-based skills are essential for Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to remain competitive in international markets and expand digital business operations.
He added that e-CAB continues to work toward making Bangladesh’s e-commerce sector more modern, technology-driven and sustainable.
Participants also shared their experiences and feedback, highlighting how the knowledge gained from the training would positively contribute to their personal, professional and business activities.
Post, Telecommunications and Science and Technology Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam, MP, was scheduled to attend as chief guest. Special guests included Narsingdi-5 Member of Parliament Engr. Md. Ashraf Uddin, Business Promotion Council Chief Executive Officer and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Nahid Afroz, BNP National Executive Committee Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology H M Saif Ali Khan, and Executive Committee Member Faisal Alim.
However, due to the ongoing session of the National Parliament, the chief guest and special guests could not attend the programme. They conveyed their greetings, support and best wishes for the success of the initiative.
In the absence of Engr. Md. Ashraf Uddin, his spouse Jannatul Haque attended the programme. In her remarks, she highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence in promoting digital skills and expanding e-business opportunities.
The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participating entrepreneurs.
