IDAB Holds Annual General Meeting in the Capital

The Interior Designers Association of Bangladesh (IDAB) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, January 24, at its own office in Moghbazar, Dhaka.

The meeting was presided over by IDAB President Syed Kamrul Ahsan, while the organisation’s Director, Muhammad Anamul Haque, conducted the proceedings. Leaders from various levels of the association and general members attended the AGM.

Former Convenor of IDAB, Safiul Islam, was present at the meeting as a special guest. Also in attendance were Senior Vice President Saiful Islam Sharan, Vice President Architect Sajib Jahan, and Directors Wasim Shikdar, Irfan Babu, Suman Kumar, Abdur Rahim Sarker, Muhammad Shariful Islam, Niazur Rahman, Irfan Babu, among others.

During the meeting, speakers presented the organisation’s activities along with the financial report for the previous year. Detailed discussions and exchanges of views were held on the new year’s action plan, future programmes, overall organisational development, and policy directions aimed at enhancing the professional standards and capacity of IDAB members.

At the conclusion of the meeting, participants expressed their firm commitment to maintaining the organisation’s steady progress, strengthening members’ professional capabilities, and further reinforcing IDAB’s role in the development of the interior design sector in Bangladesh.
