Rupali Bank PLC's mobile financial service 'RupaliCash' has signed a distributorship agreement with Akij Online to expand digital transaction facilities.
Rupali Bank PLC's mobile financial service, 'RupaliCash,' has signed a distributorship agreement with Akij Online to expand digital financial services and enhance customer service quality.
The agreement was recently signed at the head office of Rupali Bank in Dilkusha, Dhaka. Through this partnership, RupaliCash and Akij Online will work together to make the digital transaction ecosystem more convenient, secure, and user-friendly.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Kazi Md. Wahidul Islam, Managing Director of Rupali Bank, noted that Rupali Bank was the first state-owned commercial bank to introduce mobile banking in 2016 and has been successfully operating under its proprietary technology as 'RupaliCash' since 2025. He expressed optimism that the service would soon become one of the country's leading digital financial platforms.
Sheikh Amin Uddin, Managing Director of Akij Online, stated that the collaboration between major public and private sector brands sets a strong precedent for economic growth.
Rupali Bank Deputy Managing Directors Tahmina Akhter and Hasan Tanvir, along with Bangladesh Bank Executive Director Mamunur Rahman and other top officials from both organizations, attended the event.
