Vivo Concludes Nationwide University Photography Competition in Bangladesh

Vivo Bangladesh has completed its nationwide university photography competition titled “Dekha Hoi Nai Chokkhu Meliya”, aimed at encouraging students to explore mobile photography through practical experience.

The campaign was conducted using the Vivo V70 FE smartphone and attracted registrations from nearly 4,000 students across 12 public and private universities.

According to the organisers, the initiative was designed to provide students with direct access to smartphone camera capabilities while encouraging visual storytelling and creative expression.

Participating institutions included Bangladesh Agricultural University, Begum Rokeya University, Comilla University, Gopalganj University of Science and Technology, Islamic University of Technology, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Leading University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, University of Rajshahi, University of Chittagong, University of Dhaka and Uttara University.

During the campaign, participants captured theme-based photographs and shared their work through digital platforms. Organisers reported that more than 3,500 photos were taken and over 800 posts were shared through the Vivo BD community.

Md. Zahidul Islam, Product and Development Manager of Vivo Bangladesh, said the campaign aimed to encourage students to observe their surroundings differently and express ideas through photography.

Comilla University student Chowdhury Supratik Barua won the competition and received a Vivo V70 FE smartphone.

The runner-up list included Tanvirul Alam from Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Tahmid Alam from Uttara University, Abdullah Al Noman from Gopalganj University of Science and Technology and Al-Noman from the University of Dhaka. Each received a Riro Smartwatch W1SE.
