eMakers Bangladesh has been appointed as the National Director of the international beauty pageant “Miss Intercontinental” in Bangladesh. Through this role, the organization will now oversee the official operations of the competition in Bangladesh, including contestant selection and the entire process of participation in the international stage.

eMakers Bangladesh has previously organized several major events in the country’s event and entertainment sector. The announcement was made on the official social media platforms of the Miss Intercontinental Organization, where Naeem Ashraf, Chief Executive Officer of IMakers Bangladesh, was formally declared as the National Director for the Bangladesh chapter.

Established in 1971, the competition is recognized as one of the oldest and most prestigious international beauty pageants in the world. The upcoming edition will mark the 53rd installment, where selected contestants from various countries, including Bangladesh, will represent their nations on the global stage.

eMakers Bangladesh has a track record of hosting major events in the country’s entertainment industry. These include concerts in Dhaka featuring popular music artists Arijit Singh and Neha Kakkar, as well as the “Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Concert” in Nepal and the “Concert for Nepal” organized to support earthquake-affected victims.

Speaking on the matter on Wednesday (May 6), National Director of eMakers Bangladesh Naeem Ashraf said that there are plans to organize a reality show in Bangladesh, leveraging international-standard experience, through which “Miss Intercontinental Bangladesh” will be selected. He added that this platform will create new opportunities for young women and help showcase Bangladesh’s culture and talent on the international stage.
