City IT Mega Fair 2025 Opens on Monday, December 8 with 10,000+ Tech Brands
Dhaka is all set to host one of the year’s biggest tech events as the six-day City IT Mega Fair 2025 kicks off tomorrow at Agargaon’s BCS Computer City, with the slogan “Power of Technology, Progress through Youth.”
The fair will feature exclusive cashback, discounts, and guaranteed gifts on a wide range of tech purchases. Visitors will also be treated to daily concerts, raffle draws, and interactive sessions with popular tech personalities.
The colorful opening ceremony will take place at 11:00am on Monday, 8 December, on the ground floor of BCS Computer City. Mohammad Zahirul Islam, President of the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), will attend as the chief guest.
As a special attraction, the Gigabyte Children’s Art Competition will be held on Friday, 12 December at 10:00am—expected to draw significant participation from young visitors.
This year, major global technology brands including ASUS, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Epson, LDNIO, and TP-Link are joining the fair. Local and partner brands such as Walton, Dell, Deepcool, Acer, Bitrack, T&V, and many others will also showcase their latest offerings.
Speaking about the event, Akhtar Hossain Khan, President of BCS Computer City, said the fair will bring together the latest-generation computers, laptops, printers, monitors, CCTV systems and a wide array of new tech innovations. Alongside product showcases and discounts, a series of special activities will be arranged for both buyers and young visitors.
The fair will remain open to all every day from 10:00am to 9:00pm.
Mohammad Zahed Ali Bhuiyan, convener of the City IT Mega Fair, said that as the country’s largest computer and laptop expo, the entire marketplace will offer special prices and promotional deals. Sponsor pavilions and numerous participant stalls are expected to draw huge crowds.
Known widely as the IDB Computer Market, the venue hosts around 154 shops, offering nearly 50,000 IT products from over 10,000 brands, making it one of the most diverse tech markets in Bangladesh.
