Gazipur Digital University Hosts GST ‘A’ Unit Admission Test in Peaceful Setting
The admission test for the 2024–25 academic session of the 'A' Unit (Science Group) under the GST cluster of universities was held in a peaceful and orderly environment at Gazipur Digital University (GDU) and its sub-centres.
This year, a total of 3,886 candidates selected GDU as their examination centre. Of them, 3,229 appeared for the test held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while 657 candidates were absent. The attendance rate at GDU stood at 83.01 percent.
During the examination, GDU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf visited the main centre and sub-centres and closely monitored the overall environment and operational procedures.
Treasurer of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain, was also present during the inspection. Expressing satisfaction over the successful and smooth conduct of the examination, Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf said, “The admission test for the ‘A’ Unit (Science Group) under the GST cluster of universities for the 2024–25 academic session was conducted today at Gazipur Digital University in a highly disciplined and peaceful atmosphere.”
He extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the teachers, officials, staff, student volunteers, local residents, Gazipur district administration, police, and all cooperating institutions and individuals for their sincere support in ensuring the smooth execution of the admission test.
