Team United Unveils Panel for Upcoming e-CAB Election

The election for the 2025–2027 term of the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) is scheduled to take place on May 31. In this election, 502 registered voters will choose 11 directors from a pool of 36 candidates.

In the run-up to the polls, a robust 11-member panel named "Team United" has officially announced its candidacy. The announcement was made through a press release on Friday, May 9.

The panel members of "Team United" include Mosammat Jannatul Haque Shapla of Azure Cuisine, Mohammad Shahab Uddin of Diabetes Store Limited, Saleh Ahmed of Purple IT Limited, Abu Sufian Nilav Bhuiyan of Nijol Creative, S M Nurun Nabi of Bikroy Bazar Dotcom, Md. Tasdik Habib of Clean Force Limited, Md. Nur Islam Babu of Khet Khamar, Hosneara Nuri of Nowrin's Mirror, Saifur Rahman of One Mall Limited, Syed Usswat Imam of Express in Town Limited, and Mohammad Emran of Inception Technologies Limited.

Speaking about the panel, Mosammat Jannatul Haque Shapla said, “A wave of positive change is emerging in Bangladesh’s startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Team United is entering the election with a realistic, tech-driven, and sustainable roadmap to help guide and accelerate this change in an organized manner. This panel is committed to forming a unified voice that prioritizes the experiences, challenges, and potential of entrepreneurs. We are determined to lead e-CAB to its desired destination as a strong, responsible, and progressive team.”

The press release further noted that the core objectives of Team United include creating a supportive and empathetic environment for entrepreneurs, adopting technological and policy initiatives, safeguarding entrepreneurs’ rights, and prioritizing the inclusion of women and young entrepreneurs.
