Microsoft is introducing a 'sign language view' feature in its communication platform Teams so that people with speech and hearing impairments can also participate in important meetings held online. Several users have already had the opportunity to use the facility to test the functionality of Sign Language View.

Technology site The Verge reported that the facility will soon be open to all users. Then using this facility, Teams users can show the speech of different people or the content of the meeting in sign language during the video call. Interpreter videos can also be shown on a large screen in front of speech and hearing impaired people for better understanding of sign language.

Not only that, speech and hearing impaired people can be heard by others through sign language interpreters. As a result, speech and hearing impaired people can also participate in online meetings with ease.
