New Textbooks Will be Available on NCTB Website from the First Day of the New Year
2025 SSC Syllabus Simplified: Books Ready for Distribution
The condensed syllabus for 2025 SSC candidates and their distribution has already been uploaded online. The updated PDF version will soon be available on the website of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB). Professor Dr. A.K.A. Riajul Hasan, Chairman of NCTB, expressed optimism that the revised 441 free textbooks for primary and secondary students will be uploaded at the start of the new year.
He mentioned that the revision of these 441 books has been completed and they have been converted into PDF versions. These will soon be uploaded on the NCTB website, and it is expected that the process will be completed by Monday. Afterward, the books will be ready for release.
The NCTB Chairman also shared plans to distribute all textbooks for first, second, and third-grade students, as well as Bengali, English, and Mathematics books for fourth and fifth graders, by the first day of the year (January 1). Additionally, partial distribution of textbooks for sixth to tenth graders will be carried out. A total of 1.1 million new books for tenth-grade students have already been prepared. The remaining books for fourth, fifth, and tenth grades will be distributed by January 5, while five additional books for secondary students will be distributed by January 10, with the rest expected to be delivered by January 20.
According to NCTB sources, the government plans to distribute 100 million books for primary students and 300 million books for secondary students in 2025. As part of this, 691 textbooks have been revised, with 441 of them already converted to PDF format. These files will soon be uploaded to the NCTB website.
