Ensuring transparent institutional clarity regarding degree completion, credit distribution, and evaluation protocols, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) hosted an orientation seminar titled ‘Academic and Examination Rules and Regulations for the Undergraduate Students’. The first phase of the consultative program was organized by the university’s Directorate of Student Welfare on Monday, 21 September 2026, at the central auditorium.
The session was attended by Professor Dr. Kazi Delwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and official-in-charge performing the routine duties of the Vice-Chancellor, as chief guest.
Addressing the technical parameters of the undergraduate curriculum, Controller of Examinations (Additional Charge) Professor Dr. Md. Moinul Islam and Director of Student Welfare Professor Dr. Md. Saiful Islam delivered presentations detailing academic codes, credit accumulation systems, evaluation procedures, and examination policies. The speakers urged students to strictly adhere to university statutes to maintain seamless academic progression throughout their degree programs.
Moderated by Assistant Director of Student Welfare Priyanti Paul Tumpa, the seminar saw active participation from departmental faculty members and undergraduate cohorts across various engineering disciplines.
