UFTB and PeopleNTech Sign MoU to Boost IT Skills and Placement Pathways

Advancing specialized software competencies, industry-aligned laboratory training, and global employment pipelines for university students, the University of Frontier Technology, Bangladesh (UFTB) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PeopleNTech Institute of IT. The formal signing took place at 12:00 PM on Monday, 21 September 2026, at the Conference Room of UFTB’s Administrative Building.
Organized by the university’s National and International Collaboration Cell (NICC), the session was presided over by NICC Director Md. Towkir Ahmmed. UFTB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Moktar Ali attended as chief guest, alongside Registrar Muhammad Ataur Rahman Khan as special guest. PeopleNTech was officially represented by its President Farhana Hanip and Vice President Mashrul Hossain Khan Leon.
Under the institutional collaboration, UFTB students will receive direct access to PeopleNTech’s specialized curriculum featuring over 60 industry-aligned IT and software development tracks guided by expert mentors. The partnership integrates practical lab immersion, personalized career advisory, and recruitment linkages driven by PeopleNTech’s dedicated placement cell, which maintains tie-ups across more than 200 enterprises in Bangladesh and the United States. The framework also extends academic progression pathways to the Washington University of Science and Technology (WUST) in the United States.
Highlighting the academic mandate, UFTB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Moktar Ali observed, "In the current technological landscape, traditional theoretical degrees must be reinforced with adaptive, market-driven technical proficiencies. As a specialized technology-focused institution, UFTB is committed to bridging the divide separating academic research from industrial reality. This bilateral collaboration with PeopleNTech establishes an actionable mechanism to produce employment-ready professionals capable of thriving in frontier technology sectors."
