The 19th BCA Awards 2026 will be held in London on November 1 to recognise the achievements and contributions of the British Bangladeshi catering and hospitality industry. The event will take place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, bringing together restaurant and hospitality professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders, community representatives, politicians, distinguished guests and supporters.

The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 1, under the theme ‘Honouring Today’s Achievements, Inspiring Tomorrow’s Success’. For 19 consecutive years, the BCA Awards have provided a platform to recognise achievements and success across the British Bangladeshi catering and hospitality sector.

The event began as a celebration of excellence in the industry and has since developed into an important annual occasion in the UK. This year’s awards will honour individuals whose dedication, perseverance, entrepreneurship and professionalism are contributing to the growth of the hospitality industry.

The 19th edition is being described as an important milestone for the Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA). The awards not only recognise individual achievements but also highlight the long journey of an industry that has become an important part of Britain’s economic, social and cultural life.

For generations, Bangladeshi restaurants and hospitality businesses have created employment, supported local communities and contributed to the vitality of commercial centres across the UK. They have also helped introduce South Asian food and culture to millions of people across the country.

The Awards and Gala Dinner Committee is responsible for preparations and overall coordination of this year’s event. Its Convener, Atik Rahman BEM, is coordinating the committee’s preparations and activities.

BCA President Oli Khan MBE said the 19th BCA Awards represent a proud moment for both the association and the industry it represents. He said the awards recognise the dedication, enterprise and contributions of people connected with the sector and provide an opportunity to celebrate their achievements and bring the industry and community together for another memorable evening.

BCA Secretary General Tipu Rahman said the BCA Awards have become an important annual occasion for celebrating excellence in the industry. He said the 19th edition would recognise members’ achievements while celebrating their contributions and inspiring the next generation of hospitality professionals and entrepreneurs.

BCA Chief Treasurer M Faizul Haque said the continued success of the BCA Awards reflects the strength, unity and resilience of the industry. He said the 19th edition would honour people working tirelessly to build successful businesses and make positive contributions to their communities and the UK.

BCA Press and Publications Secretary Naz Islam said the awards are an important platform for highlighting the achievements, dedication and contributions of members and the wider British Bangladeshi hospitality industry. He said the association was proud to honour people and businesses whose hard work continues to strengthen the sector and contribute to communities across the UK.

The people working behind and at the forefront of the hospitality industry remain at the heart of the BCA Awards. The event recognises a broad range of talent, dedication and hard work, from established restaurant owners and successful entrepreneurs to chefs, managers, employees and emerging business leaders.

The evening will also provide an opportunity for industry professionals to come together, strengthen relationships and celebrate the shared heritage and future aspirations of the British Bangladeshi business community.

The Bangladesh Caterers Association represents the interests and rights of the Bangladeshi catering and hospitality industry in the UK. Through advocacy, representation, networking and industry engagement, the BCA supports its members while highlighting the sector’s contribution to British society and the UK economy.
