GST Cluster Admission Test Schedule Announced Featuring Science and Tech Universities

The admission test schedule for the General, Science and Technology (GST) cluster universities for the 2026-27 academic session has been officially announced. The dates were finalized during a meeting of the GST cluster committee on Thursday (September 17). According to the schedule, the 'B' Unit examination will take place on March 19, 2027, followed by the 'C' and 'D' Units on March 20, while the 'A' Unit examination for science and technology faculties is set for March 27.

The announcement sets the stage for thousands of admission seekers applying to major science and technology public universities across the country. Candidates seeking admission into engineering, technology, and science disciplines will compete in the 'A' Unit test on March 27. Professor Dr. Golam Robbani, Vice-Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) and Co-Convenor of the GST admission committee, confirmed that detailed application guidelines will be issued via an official notification soon.

Science and Technology Universities Under GST Cluster:

Out of the 20 participating institutions, 12 specialized science and technology universities form a core segment of the cluster:

  1. Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University

  2. Patuakhali Science and Technology University

  3. Noakhali Science and Technology University

  4. Jashore Science and Technology University

  5. Pabna Science and Technology University

  6. Gopalganj Science and Technology University

  7. Rangamati Science and Technology University

  8. University of Frontier Technology

  9. Jamalpur Science and Technology University

  10. Chandpur Science and Technology University

  11. Sunamganj Science and Technology University

  12. Pirojpur Science and Technology University

The cluster also includes general public universities such as Islamic University, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Begum Rokeya University, University of Barishal, Rabindra University, Netrokona University, Kishoreganj University, and Naogaon University.

Three New Universities Await Inclusion:

Three newly established public universities—Bogra University, Thakurgaon University, and Meherpur University—have expressed interest in joining the GST process this session.
