AHZ Hosts 'Pre-Departure 2026' for Over 1,000 UK-Bound Bangladeshi Students

DHAKA, August 9, 2026: Leading UK university representative institution AHZ organized a landmark event titled 'Pre-Departure 2026' at the Gulshan Shooting Club in Dhaka to honor and guide Bangladeshi students heading to the United Kingdom for higher studies.

The festive assembly gathered over 1,000 students accepted for the upcoming September 2026 academic intake, alongside their family members, education consultants, and academic experts.

The demand for UK higher education among Bangladeshi youths continues to experience rapid growth. Industry figures reveal that AHZ currently delivers 100% free comprehensive application and guidance services to approximately 60% of all UK-bound Bangladeshi applicants.

A significant proportion of this year's student cohort earned merit-based scholarships ranging from 30% to as high as 90% tuition fee waivers. During the session, student representatives shared their application journeys and success strategies with fellow attendees.

Distinguished leaders present at the ceremony included Captain A. K. M. Golam Kibria (CIP), Chairman of MH Global Group; Jahirul Islam (CIP), Chief Commercial Officer; Waheed Zaman, Country Manager of AHZ Bangladesh; Mahfuz M. Kushal, Regional Marketing Manager of Course Hunter; and Ahsan Mahmud, Business Development Manager of MH Global Group. Operational managers from AHZ's Gulshan, Dhanmondi, Uttara, and Mirpur branches were also in attendance.

World-renowned carrier Turkish Airlines joined the event as a special partner. During an interactive quiz session, Turkish Airlines presented a lucky winning student with a free air ticket for travel to the UK.

The workshop acquainted students with crucial pre-departure protocols, including airport procedures, housing setup, UK academic norms, part-time work regulations, and professional networking strategies.
