Following the official inauguration of the 'July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum', Prime Minister Tarique Rahman listened to digitally recorded phone conversations of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina via the historic Gono Bhaban red telephone display.
According to museum officials, the red telephone originally deployed at Gono Bhaban stands out as a major digital attraction.
Earlier at the ceremony, former Chief Adviser Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmad, Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury, Liberation War Affairs Minister Ahmed Ajam Khan, and Special Adviser Jahed Ur Rahman were present. Authorities emphasized that the museum leverages digital archiving to secure audio-video evidence, documents, and historical artifacts for future research on the mass movement.
