The 'July Uprising Memorial Museum', established to preserve the historic memories and artifacts of the July mass movement, is opening to the public through online ticket and time-slot bookings. To control crowding and streamline visitor management, museum authorities have introduced a structured digital entry system.
To obtain entry passes, visitors must register on the designated portal and select their preferred time slot before purchasing e-tickets directly from the platform. Ticket prices have been fixed at BDT 50 for adults and BDT 25 for children.
Earlier on August 5 (Wednesday), Prime Minister Tarique Rahman officially inaugurated the museum alongside former Interim Government Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Touring the digital galleries, preserved footage, and movement relics, the Prime Minister highlighted at the 'July 36' discussion that the tech-integrated museum will expose past fascism while inspiring future generations. Presided over by Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury, former Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus remarked that the immediate digital archival of artifacts and public sentiments sets this museum apart globally.
