Samadhan Seals SSL Deal for Secure Online Payments

In a move to launch online payment services, Samadhan Services Limited—an associate company of Grameen Telecom and Grameen Telecom Trust—has signed an agreement with Software Shop Limited (SSL). Through this partnership, Samadhan’s customers will now be able to make secure and convenient online payments for various products and services via SSLCommerz’s payment gateway.

According to a press release issued on Sunday, September 12, Dr. Ahmed Arman Siddiqui, Chief Executive Officer of Samadhan Services Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of his organization. The signing ceremony was attended by Md. Ashraful Hasan, Group Chairman of Grameen Group and Managing Director of Samadhan Services Limited; Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Chief Operating Officer; Rezaul Kabir, Chief Information and Technology Officer; and Saif Ahmed Chowdhury, Chief Financial Officer.

Representatives from Software Shop Limited present at the event included Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury, Group Advisor; Md. Mahmud Hasan Bhuiyan, General Manager; Mohaymen Al Rashid, Manager; Tahiya Salsabil Amin, Deputy Manager; and Riasat Uddin Ahmed, Assistant Manager.
