To ensure easy access to reliable information, Islamic University (IU) has launched its official Facebook page. The page, titled “Islamic University, Bangladesh,” was inaugurated on August 18 (Monday) at the office of the Vice-Chancellor.

Present at the inauguration were Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Yakub Ali, Proctor Professor Shahnuzzaman, Director of the Information and Public Relations Office Shahed Ahmed, along with other officials.

According to the university authorities, the main purpose of launching the page is to deliver accurate information to students quickly. Through the platform, students will be able to access timely updates on examinations, admissions, classes, and other important academic notices. The authorities expressed hope that the page will create an effective information flow among IU students and encourage greater engagement in administrative activities.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah said, “This page will be a strong medium of direct communication with our students. From academic notices to various cultural and administrative activities, all updates will now be available on this page.”

IU student Rakib Hossain remarked, “The same information is often published differently on various university pages, which causes confusion. From now on, we won’t have to suffer to find accurate information. I appreciate this initiative by the administration.”
