Career Canvas App Launched to Revolutionize Career Planning
The Career Canvas app, a Bangladesh-based platform designed to assist in career planning, was officially launched on the evening of February 16. The launch event, attended by academics, technologists, experts, career counselors, entrepreneurs, and young students, took place at Creative IT Institute, located at Momota Plaza in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The app was inaugurated by Mohammad Mahdi Uz Zaman, Founder of Cloud Camp Bangladesh.
During the event, it was highlighted that Career Canvas will bring a revolutionary change in career planning for students and professionals in Bangladesh and beyond. The app offers features such as smart career guidance, psychometric assessment, skill tracking, scholarship search, and personal branding opportunities.
The launch ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including former BASIS President Mahbub Zaman, Creative Business Group COO Zia Uddin Ahmed, and Abdur Rahman Mamun, Bangladesh representative of NetCom Learning.
A dedicated session on the impact of AI on career development was also conducted, showcasing various features of the newly launched app. It was revealed that Career Canvas will play a crucial role in career planning for students from grades 9, SSC, HSC, Polytechnic, and Madrasa backgrounds. The app, implemented on an open-source platform, has been developed by Cloud Camp Foundation.
